Columbia Police investigate three separate shots fired incidents Saturday

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Columbia Police Department is investigating three separate reports of shots fired on Saturday.

According to a press release from the department, officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 500 block of Wilkes Boulevard in Central Columbia at 6:35 p.m. "Upon their arrival, officers spoke with witnesses who stated shots had been fired from a black vehicle. Property damage was reported," the release states.

At 6:55 p.m. officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 2600 block of Trimble Road in East Columbia, where they found evidence of shots fired. No property damage was reported.

When officers arrived, witnesses stated shots had been fired and described the suspects as two males in a black passenger vehicle, according to the release.

Hours later, around 11:15 p.m. officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 3300 block of Falling Leaf Lane in South Columbia. Witnesses at the scene described the suspect as a male in a black vehicle, the release states. No property damage was reported at this scene.

No injuries were reported at any of the scenes.
