Columbia police investigating two reports of shots fired Saturday

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Columbia Police Department is investigating two reports of shots fired Saturday evening.

According to a facebook post from the department, officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 500 block of Wilkes Boulevard in Central Columbia at 6:35 p.m. "Upon arrival, officers discovered evidence of shots being fired and property damage," the post states.

At 6:54 p.m. officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 2600 block of Trimble Road in East Columbia, where they found evidence of shots fired. No property damage was reported.

No injuries were reported at either scene.
