Man seriously injured after crashing into shed in Morgan County

MORGAN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Stover man suffered serious injuries in a Thursday crash in Morgan County on Deer Creek Drive, just north of Deer Run Road, according to a crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

According to the report, the crash occurred after Bruce Lawson, 46, lost consciousness. A passenger took control of the 1997 Ford F150, which was heading north when it then went off the left side of the roadway and hit a garden shed, the report states.

Lawson was flown to University Hospital. The truck had minor damage, the report states.
