Two Mizzou football players earn SEC weekly honors

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The SEC recognized two Mizzou football players on Monday for their standout performances over the weekend.

Tyler Badie is the co-offensive player of the week. He touched the ball 39 times for a career-high 294 all-purpose yards in the Tigers win over Vanderbilt on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Harrison Mevis is the special teams player of the week. The standout kicker had three field goals on Saturday, including a 52-yarder. Mevis has now made a nation-leading 19 straight field goals dating back to 2020.

Mizzou is 4-4 overall and 1-3 in SEC play this season. Up next - the Tigers will play at No. 1 Georgia on Saturday at 11 a.m.
