Sedalia man arrested after a tip of an inappropriate relationship with 15-year-old at Midway

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

On Tuesday, the Boone County Sheriff’s Department got a tip of a 21-year-old man having an inappropriate relationship with a 15-year-old at Midway Budget Inn.

The tip identified the man as William Vinyard, of Sedalia, who was at the hotel with the 15-year-old victim, according to the sheriff's department.

Vinyard is charged with two counts of second-degree statutory rape.

Vinyard's bond is set for $100,000.

In a social media release by the sheriff's department, deputies also cited Alicia A. Howard, 35, for one count of second-degree child endangermen.
