SATURDAY UPDATES: Missouri reports fewer than 2,000 new COVID-19 cases

ORIGINAL: The Department of Health and Senior Services reported 1,777 new COVID-19 cases Saturday. The additions brought the total case count up to 447,398.

Missouri ranked 26th in the nation for new cases reported in the past week on Saturday. DHSS reported 10,431 cases reported in the past seven days.

The state also reported 14 new deaths. The death toll has risen to 6,541.

The state has reported at least 4,031,558 tests in the state.

There were 2,264 people hospitalized with the virus on Saturday.

  1. Of course since medical terminology was changed to make the fear porn work, so what? The definition of a “case” formerly required symptoms as the first protocol. Now all it takes is a positive test using a test that is far from reliable. A test all the numbers in this article are based on. No symptoms required. A disease so dangerous you have to be tested to see if you have it.
