COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

UPDATE: The Chariton County Health Center reported five new COVID-19 cases Sunday.

There have been 459 cases of the virus in the county since the beginning of the pandemic.

There were 113 active cases on Sunday.

ORIGINAL: The Department of Health and Senior Services reported 3,193 new COVID-19 cases on Sunday.

There have been 295,933 cases reported across Missouri since the beginning of the pandemic.

The state ranked 14th in the nation for new cases on Sunday.

More than 3,058,000 people have been tested in Missouri.

The seven-day positivity rate on Sunday was 19.4%.

There have been 3,823 deaths reported in the state related to the virus.
