Osage Fire Protection District rescues three from Osage River

OSAGE BEACH, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Osage Fire Protection District rescued three people today.

Crews responded to the Lock and Dam on the Osage River for a single pontoon vessel with three people onboard.

Crews hoisted the three from the vessel with rope rescue equipment.

The Westphalia Fire District, Missouri State Highway Patrol and Jefferson City Fire Department also responded to the call.

Crews were able to rescue the three people without injuries.
