Man arrested in connection to McKee Street shooting

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Police arrested 22-year-old Deraze Lashon Bullock on Saturday in connection to a shooting on McKee Street in Columbia.

According to a press release, a man flagged down police in the 1800 block the street on June 25.

The man told police his 16-year-old son was riding his bike near McKee Street Park when a man shot at him twice, according to a CPD news release. The boy was not hit.

Officers located several shell casings in the area but no property was damaged, according to the release.

Bullock is being held in the Boone County Jail.

He is facing charges of first-degree assault, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon.
