Two teens shot in south Columbia
COLUMBIA Mo. (KMIZ)
Authorities are investigating after two people were shot in south Columbia Saturday morning.
Law enforcement responded to a call for shots fired near the 500 block of South Scott Boulevard around 2 a.m. A police department news release said the two victims, 13- and 16-years-old, went to the hospital in two separate ambulances.
Authorities did not provide any suspect descriptions.
Both Columbia police officers and Boone County Sheriff's deputies were on scene.
Boone County Joint Communications tweeted authorities had shut down a portion of South Scott Boulevard.
