VIDEO: CPS Superintendent talks changes to alternate learning

COLUMBIA, Mo - KMIZ

Columbia Public Schools Superintendent Peter Stiepleman joined ABC 17 News on Monday morning to discuss changes for CPS students amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

He said the district is discussing alternate plans for graduations and prom celebrations for high school seniors.

Stiepleman also talked about the ways the district is helping students during this time, including providing access to the internet and food for students who need it.

A full semester closure has not been announced, but Stiepleman said the district is preparing for it.
