Crews cleaning up oranges on I-70

A semi-truck carrying oranges crashed on I-70 eastbound near the Missouri River Bridge at Rocheport.

The 35-year-old driver of the semi-truck crashed into a MoDOT truck around 9:30 Sunday night.

Authorities were still cleaning up the oranges scatered on the side of I-70 at mile marker 113 Monday morning.

The driver of the semi-truck was taken by ambulance to University Hospital.

MoDOT’s white GMC Sierra had extensive damage, but the driver was not injured.

Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash.
