Quiet weather kicking off the work week
MONDAY: Things are still a bit mild this morning thanks to overnight cloud cover. We’ll see those clouds sticking around through at least the first part of the day before beginning to filter out of the region in the afternoon. Temperatures, however, will struggle to warm up much this afternoon, only managing to make it back into the low 50s, with a breeze out of the north not helping matters much.
TONIGHT: Winds back off tonight, but remain out of the northeast, continuing the cooling overnight. Temperatures make it into the low 30s, with many of us dipping below freezing.
EXTENDED: With high pressure in charge for the next couple of days, weather will be tranquil once again, giving temperatures a chance to recover into the middle 50s Tuesday and low 60s by Wednesday. Things become active heading into the close of the week. We’ll be tracking a cold front into Thursday, bringing the initial chance of rain, but we could see a couple rounds of rain through Friday and Saturday.
