Columbia roads become slick Tuesday morning
Roads conditions in Columbia were slippery Tuesday morning after a light drizzle and some flurries started to cover roads.
Temperatures will remain right around freezing Tuesday, meaning drivers could see some icy spots on the roads.
MoDOT Tweeted, saying roads could refreeze because they are so wet.

MoDOT’s traveler map shows roads in the area are mostly clear.
Columbia Public Works tweeted it has crews out treating bridges because elevated areas are becoming slick with the wet conditions.

Boone County Joint Communication has not reported any accidents Tuesday morning as of 8:18 a.m.
