Two arrested after undercover drug deal at Jacobs Cave

The Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force arrested two people after undercover officers bought marijuana during a drug deal at Jacobs Cave.

According to the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office, officers arrested Carla Meyers, 67, of Kansas City, and Kevin Meyers, 50, of Independence, on Friday after buying marijuana from them.

The sheriff’s office said during the investigation officers also found brownies laced with marijuana, other drug items and three handguns.

Both were arrested on suspicion of delivery of 35 grams or less of marijuana and have already bonded out of the Morgan County Jail.
