Woman suffers serious injuries in Callaway County crash

Troopers responded to a single car crash on Missouri 94 on Thursday morning.

According to the traffic crash report, the crash happened when a Honda CRV traveled off of the left side of the road, struck a ditch and overturned.

Troopers said the driver, Melinda Vanpelt, suffered serious injuries and was air-lifted to University Hospital.

The occupant, Sandra Otto, suffered minor injuries and was transported to Capital Region Medical Center.

Officers said the Honda was totaled.
