United cancels flight from Columbia Regional Airport to Chicago
It’s the first week for United Airlines at Columbia Regional Airport, and a flight has already been canceled.
A flight to Chicago was canceled due to a “ground stop” at the destination.
A ground stop is the halting of a departing aircraft destined for one particular airport or for a specific geographic area.
ABC 17 News reported on Wednesday that daily flights to Denver International Airport are now offered by United airlines, as are twice-daily flights to O’Hare International Airport in Chicago.
