Drying out this week, with temperatures in the 80s

TONIGHT: Any storms we saw during the day will come to an end once we lose the daytime heating. With that said, there is still a chance we’ll see a few spotty showers as a frontal boundary slides through Mid-Missouri. This will give way to a mild and humid night with patchy fog developing by morning. Winds tonight will be out of the northwest under 7 mph, with lows in the mid to upper 60s.

MONDAY: The beginning of our work week will start with some patchy fog in low-lying areas and near bodies of water. It will also be the kick start to a few days of gorgeous weather. For Monday, temperatures will reach into the mid 80s with humidity remaining on the lower side. Expect mostly sunny skies and completely dry weather.

EXTENDED: Tuesday through Thursday will bring similar weather to Monday. Sunshine and warm temperatures in the 80s will be the trend for the week as high pressure and drier upper level air settles over the Midwest. The next chance for rain doesn’t move in until Friday thanks to a weak upper level disturbance. We also have our first shot at chasing 90 degrees as we head into this weekend.
