UPDATE: Three people injured after incident on Bethany Drive, Bellview Drive
UPDATE: Boone County deputies said three people were injured Friday morning during an altercation in the 4000 block of Bellview Drive.
Two of the men were transported to the hospital from the scene.
The third person went to the hospital in a separate vehicle after the incident occurred.
Deputies said the three men drove to the residence and most likely planned to start an altercation.
All together, five men were involved in the fight.
Deputies said no arrests have been made. They said they aren’t sure if any arrests will be made because no one will say who started the altercation and who was actually involved.
ORIGINAL: Two people were transported to the hospital on Friday after an incident on 4000 block of Bethany Drive and the 4000 block of Bellview Drive.
The Boone County Sheriff’s Department, Columbia Fire Department, Missouri State Highway Patrol and Columbia Police Department were at the scene. The sheriff’s department is investigating the scene as a disturbance with a brick used as a weapon.
One of the victims is confirmed as a suspect. The other victim is considered a possible suspect.
There were medical responses to both addresses. The majority of the incident occurred on Bellview Drive, but one of the victims tried to run away to Bethany Drive. ABC 17 News is on scene and actively trying to find out more about what happened.
