Rain through 1PM with Gusty Winds Thursday

TODAY: It will be dry for the morning commute for those near HWY 65, while along US 63 rain looks to still be ongoing through 6AM. Rain will slowly push off to the east today where additional rain amounts of 1″ to 2″ is possible east of HWY 54 through 1PM today. It will be a breezy and cool day with winds gusting upwards to 35 mph with winds from the north. Temperatures will stay 15 below normal in the mid to upper 50s.

TONIGHT: Clouds will break this evening from west to east with skies clearing late. Patchy fog will be possible, while due to a north breeze overnight, this should keep dense fog from developing. Temperatures will reach the mid to upper 40s overnight with northerly winds at 10 mph.

EXTENDED: Friday is looking dry and sunny with no rain at this time for the upcoming weekend. The breeze still stays with us through Friday with winds gusting to 26 mph during the day. High temperatures will climb into the mid 60s Friday and lower 70s this weekend. There is only a slight shower chance Monday, otherwise it will stay dry and warm through Wednesday of next week before the next storm system moves in by next Thursday.
