UPDATE: Another suspect arrested on suspicion of robbery, gun and kidnapping charges
UPDATE 2/8: Joseph Jerome Johnson has been charged in this case with first degree robbery, first degree kidnapping and unlawful use of a firearm.
Johnson assisted Robert Johnson in assaulting the victim, including holding a gun to the victim and stealing his cell phone and money.
ORIGINAL STORY: Two people were in the Boone County jail Monday morning on suspicion of robbery, gun and kidnapping charges.
Public jail records show police arrested 45-year-old Robert Johnson and 31-year-old Nicole Barrett. They were booked in jail around 3:30 Monday morning.
Both were arrested on suspicion of armed criminal action, kidnapping, robbery, assault, unlawful possession of a firearm and drug charges.
Both Johnson and Barrett have an address listed in the 3300 block of Brampton Court. That’s the same place where ABC 17 News got reports of police activity Sunday involving a crime scene forensics van.
Another woman, Rechelle Scott, is listed as living at that same address and is also in jail. Police reportedly arrested Scott on suspicion manufacturing and possession of a controlled substance.
All three people are set to appear in court today at 1:30pm.
