Suspects charged for having drugs, guns, intoxicated child
Three people are charged near the Lake of the Ozarks after deputies claim they were caught with drugs, guns and a drunk 9 year-old child.
The Morgan County sheriff’s department got a call around 10 Friday night after someone heard shots and saw people standing outside a home at 14501 Red Hollow Road in Gravois Mills.
They found three children in a vehicle ranging in age from less than 1 year to pre-teen. One man denied hearing gunfire, but deputies say they found what appeared to be marijuana inside the car. When asked to step outside, a 9 year-old also had slurred speech, could not walk and was visibly intoxicated. After going to a nearby hospital, medical crews confirmed the 9 year-old’s blood alcohol content was .093.
A search warrant later recovered meth, marijuana, prescription pills, a sawed-off shotgun and three pistols.
Brian Plemmons, 26, from Versailles, was charged with six felonies on $400,000 bond. Allison Williams, 24, from Gravois Mills, is facing two felonies, two misdemeanors and $50,000 bond, and Robert Yount, 30, of Gravois Mills, has five felonies and two misdemeanors with $250,000 bond.
