Former church youth director sentenced to prison
A former youth director for a Columbia church was sentenced to prison for sex crimes involving children Monday.
A judge sentenced Dale Johnson to 12 years for charges including statutory sodomy and child pornography.
Johnson was the youth director at Parkade Baptist Church on Garth Avenue in Columbia when he was arrested in March 2015.
He plead guilty to the charges in July.
