Crashes slowing traffic near Lake of the Woods exit in Columbia

Several crashes near the Lake of the Woods exit in Columbia are affecting traffic right now.

According to Boone County Joint Communications, the crashes happened in the westbound lanes near the exit on the east side of the city. Construction at that exit has the overpass and westbound on- and off-ramps closed at this time.

We haven’t heard any details about possible injuries.
