Two-car crash on new double roundabout in Columbia
ABC 17 News has reporters at the scene of a crash on the new double roundabout at Rangeline under I-70, which has only been open fewer than two days.
Crews believe one vehicle exiting from the off-ramp did not yield to another car that was already in the roundabout. It is more elongated and shaped like a dogbone, running underneath both sides of the interstate.
Emergency workers were called just before 8 a.m. It is unclear if anyone was hurt in the wreck. Traffic was slightly delayed but moving again by 8:40 a.m.
ABC 17 News already reported on Monday that MoDOT was opening the new double roundabout for the first time. Our ABC 17 News crews also saw people driving in the wrong direction on the roundabout Monday evening.
