Emergency crews respond to crash near new double roundabout in Columbia
Emergency crews were on the scene of a crash Tuesday morning on the new double roundabout in Columbia.
It happened around 8:00 Tuesday morning on the roundabout at Rangeline and I-70.
Authorities tell our ABC 17 News crews that one vehicle was exiting I-70 and entering the roundabout and the driver failed to yield to another driver changing lanes at the time in the roundabout.
The two vehicles then collided.
The wreck temporarily slowed traffic in the area but our ABC 17 News crew on scene reports it was moving again by 8:40 am.
ABC 17 News reported on Monday that MoDOT was opening the new double roundabout for the first time. Our ABC 17 News crews also people driving the wrong direction on the roundabout Monday evening.
