Arkansas man sentenced for robbery at Mid-Missouri bank
An Arkansas man was sentenced in federal court on Monday for a dozen armed robberies, including one at a Mid-Missouri bank.
45-year-old Timothy Hoyt was sentenced to 8 years in prison for the crimes that took place in Kansas, South Dakota, Nebraska, and Oklahoma.
Hoyt admitted that he used a gun he stole from the Walmart in Blackwater to rob the Alliant Bank in Blackwater in June 2013.
Court records said Hoyt stole more than $5,000 from the bank.
