Roots N Blues N BBQ parking and lane closures
The Roots N Blues N BBQ Festival kicks off at Stephens Lake Park in Columbia. If you’re headed down for the live music and food, you’ll want watch out for parking restrictions and lane closures.
Close to 30,000 people are expected to head to Stephens Lake Park for the Roots N Blues N BBQ Festival. If you’re driving to the area, you’ll need to know E. Walnut from Old 63 to the dead end will be closed to through traffic and you’ll need a neighborhood pass if you want to park in that area. Drivers who park in the neighborhood without a pass will get a $50 fine and their cars will be towed.
One lane of Old 63 is closed all weekend. If you’re headed south on the street, you’ll be detoured at E. Walnut.
Downtown parking garages are free all weekend. Roots N Blues is offering free rides to and from Stephens Lake Park. Also, COMO Connect is free all weekend and has extended its hours.
There is ADA accessible event parking at Riechmann Pavilion off E. Walnut.
After the concert each night, COMO Connect shuttles and yellow school buses will line up at Reichmann Pavilion to take concert-goers back to their vehicles.
