Sedalia Police arrest six in separate drug busts

Sedalia Police arrested six people in two separate drug busts Thursday.

The first search warrant was at 537 East 4th Street just before 5:30 a.m.

Officers forced entry into the home and arrested 4 people without incident.

A K9 unit found methamphetamine, marijuana, prescription drugs, and drug paraphernalia.

25-year-old Laura Martin and 27-year-old Derek Hughes were arrested for possession of meth, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

40-year-old Robert Lynch was arrested for possession of meth, drug paraphernalia, and a prohibited weapon.

49-year-old Jeff Jones was arrested for possession of meth, controlled prescription drugs, and drug paraphernalia.

Martin, Lynch, and Hughes are in the Pettis County Jail. Jones was released pending state charges.

Two others were arrested in a bust later in the afternoon at 1319 Walker Circle.

An officer saw people leave the home in a vehicle just before the search warrant. He was able to pull the car over and arrest two people at the scene.

Officers found evidence leading them to believe one of the suspects had distributed pot in the home.

32-year-old Amy Wood was arrested for possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and distribution of marijuana.

35-year-old Monte Gravitt was arrested for possession of a marijuana.
