Two seriously injured in Jefferson City crash

Two people were seriously injured following a two-car crash in Jefferson City Wednesday.

The accident happened at the intersection of Rainbow Drive and Binder Lake Road.

18-year-old Sara Grieshammer was driving east on Rainbow Drive in a 2006 Saturn Ion when 30-year-old Jessica Ochoa, driving a 2001 Toyota Camry, stopped at an intersection, then pulled onto Rainbow Drive into Grieshammer’s path.

Both cars were totaled, and both women were taken to Capital Region Hospital for serious injuries. Grieshammer was not wearing a seatbelt at the time.
