Hwy. 63 on-ramp opens, more closures ahead
The Broadway on-ramp to Highway 63 south reopened Wednesday evening one day ahead of schedule, but even more traffic delays could be just around the corner.
Starting July 7, MoDot is planning to close the Broadway bridge over Hominy Creek in both directions right near the highway. Crews will also close lanes for work on the Broadway bridge crossing Highway 63.
Combined, the construction should last about 45 days.
For drivers on the eastside who need to reach the highway, officials suggest going east to Route J, and then north to I-70, merging onto Highway 63 at the connector.
