Police warn about burglaries targeting college women
Columbia police are warning residents about a string of burglaries that seem to be targeting college women.
They’ve been happening in the 3000 block of Stadium.
Since the first of May police have investigated four burglaries in that area.
The only suspect so far is a white man, around six foot, 200 pounds wearing a stocking cap.
Police are reminding people, especially college women to take precautions. They want people to lock doors and windows, and walk in well lit areas with friends.
