Sunday Sit-Down with Tom Whelihan

This week’s Sunday Sit-Down is with former Mizzou kicker, Tom Whelihan. He talks about the impact of Michael Sam’s announcement that he is gay.

Whelihan says the announcement is a “world wide change.” The former MU player, who has a sister in-law who is gay, says he thinks Sam’s team should be credited for supporting him through the season.

Sam went on to be a unanimous All-American and one of the top defensive end prospects in the upcoming NFL draft.
