Public safety likely topic at Columbia council retreat

This weekend Columbia council members start their annual retreat.

A big focus for council will be the 2013 Citizen Survey.

In the survey many said public safety is the most important service. Some said they don’t feel safe downtown and at city parks.

This weekend council members will also focus on the city’s strategic priorities.

The retreat is being held at the ARC on West Ash Street.
