Mizzou to Close Tuesday

The University of Missouri announced it will close Tuesday due to the impending winter storm.All classes, exams and events are canceled. The university says only employees who are considered “situationally critical” should be on campus.Monday evening classes will be held as scheduled and Ellis Library will remain open until 10 p.m. The MU Student Center and Student Recreation Center will keep regular hours Monday and will be open during regular hours Tuesday.Chancellor Brady Deaton says an announcement regarding classes and/or campus closure for Wednesday will be made Tuesday.MU Health Care’s hospitals and emergency rooms will remain open, as will the MU Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital emergency service.The University of Missouri-Kansas City canceled evening classes Monday but hadn’t yet announced whether Tuesday’s classes would be canceled.
