Crash Shuts Down I-70

Two crashes within three miles of each other shutdown the eastbound lanes of I-70 Friday afternoon, from the Lake of the Woods exit to the Providence Road exit on Columbia’s east side. Both crashes happened around 3 Friday afternoon, as many people were getting off work and school and trying to head out of town for the weekend. Traffic began moving again at about 4:30 p.m.
