A Callaway County man is behind bars for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend. The Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to the Kingdom of Callaway Estates around 11:15 p.m. Saturday for a domestic disturbance call. Deputies believe Robert G. Bush, 51, of Steedman, assaulted his girlfriend. The woman was transported by helicopter to University Hospital for treatment.
