JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ) The Jefferson City Fire Department responded to an apartment fire along the 500 block of East Elm Street on Sunday morning. The department responded to the fire just after 1:30 a.m. on Sunday morning. According to the release, multiple people were evacuated and fire crews rescued one pet from the building.
