I-70 back open on Sunday morning following crash

Part of I-70 is now back open after it was shut down early Sunday morning, following a crash involving at least two cars.

According to Columbia Fire, that crash injured two people.

The crash, happened just before 4 a.m. on Sunday, with crews shutting the highway down from Providence to the connector.

Columbia Fire tweeted about the crash, shortly after arriving on scene.

According to the department, one person transported to the hospital suffered from serious injuries, while another suffered only minor injuries.

ABC 17 News crews on scene saw traffic backed up significantly, as well as at least two cars with damage.

News crews also saw an ambulance leave the scene shortly after arriving.
