Fellow senior Kim Wert also continued her hot streak at the plate. She designated hitter knocked out her fifth home run in just four games. She has now homered in four games straight.

Junior Megan Schumacher got her second start of the season in the circle. She threw for five innings with two strikeout and just one earned run allowed. Laurin Krings finished out the outing with three strikeouts and no runs allowed.
