KMIZ

ST. LOUIS (AP) — Two men accused of fatally shooting a woman who crashed into their car last month have been charged with murder. Television station KSDK says 22-year-old Thomas Shelton and 24-year-old Douglas Shelton-Herron are each charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action in the Feb. 11 death of 39-year-old Lekeshia Stokes. Police say Stokes had been driving her car when she sideswiped a Jaguar parked on the side of a St. Louis road and crashed into the rear of a car parked in front of the Jaguar. Police say Shelton, Shelton-Herron and another unidentified man got out of the Jaguar and fired multiple shots into Stokes’ car. She suffered multiple gunshot wounds and died at hospital.
