Three Mizzou softball players earn All-SEC preseason honors

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

There Mizzou softball players earned a spot on the All-SEC preseason team on Monday afternoon.

Hatti Moore, Brooke Wilmes and Jenna Laird were three of the 21 players selected by the league head coaches. MU and Florida were the only two teams with three players on the list.

Moore and Wilmes are two of Mizzou's eight returning super seniors. Meanwhile, Laird is the reigning SEC Freshman of the Year.

No. 11 Mizzou will open up the season on Friday in the Northern Lights Invitational in Leesburg, Fla.
