Tracking some showers to kick off a cool week

MONDAY: We’re starting off cool and dry this morning as our next system moves out of Nebraska. Showers will move in late this morning into the afternoon and will be off and on throughout the day. Highs will make it into the upper 40’s.

TONIGHT: That chance of showers will stay with us early before sliding off to our southeast tomorrow morning. Lows will fall into the middle 30’s.

EXTENDED: The rest of the week is looking dry at this juncture. Temperatures will top out in the upper 40’s to near 50 just about every day of the workweek. Overnight lows will tumble throughout the week, into the low 30’s Tuesday and Wednesday night, with a shot to see some upper 20’s Thursday night. Any of the sensitive plants might be able to make it tonight, but you might as well bring them in with this being a sustained cool snap. We’ll get highs back into the low to mid 50’s this weekend.
