Tracking a wet start to a cool week

Halloween Night: It's shaping up to be a great night for trick-or-treating! By 8 pm temperatures will cool to the mid-'40s with mostly clear skies. Later into the night, temperatures will continue to fall to 39 degrees with cloud covering moving in from the northeast.

Tomorrow: Scattered showers move into the area early Monday morning. The afternoon high remains cooler than average at 48 degrees with winds out of the northeast at 4-8 mph.

Extended: Scattered showers continue into Tuesday morning finally pushing to the southeast before noon. Cloudy sky conditions persist through Wednesday afternoon where skies begin to clear. The overnight lows from Tuesday night into the weekend will ride the line of freezing or fall just below leading to the possibility to see our first frost in Mid-Missouri. Highs warm up to the lower '50s heading off into next weekend.
