Tracking a lingering low that keeps us living for the weekend

TONIGHT: After a dreary and cool day, showers will linger well into the overnight. Some lulls in rainfall are expected, but there's really no dry window for us tonight. Expect off and on showers through Friday morning.

FRIDAY: Showers will stick around through Friday afternoon. Rain will taper from west to east Friday evening, with gradual clearing possible around sunset in our far west counties. Expect highs to get stuck in the 50's again on Friday, with the winds largely sticking around as well.

EXTENDED: Conditions will improve on Saturday, with sunshine returning by the afternoon and highs reaching towards 60. Halloween is looking great, too, with highs once again around 60. A front will move in by the evening, bringing a few clouds to trick or treat to but we’ll stay dry. Rain chances return Monday and will stay around the area for the first part of next week. Highs will get knocked back into the 50’s next week, with overnight lows in the middle 30’s.
