Tracking wet weather returning

soggy stretch
KMIZ

WEDNESDAY: We’re starting out dry this morning but rain is on the way this afternoon. Showers and a few rumbles of thunder will start to push in from the west around 2-3 PM and will be off and on for the rest of the day. Winds out of the southeast, gusting at times to 30 mph, will help push temperatures into the mid to upper 60’s.

TONIGHT: Keep the umbrella close by with rain off and on overnight. Lows will fall into the upper 40’s.

EXTENDED: Thursday is going to be gloomy with winds flipping out of the north but not backing off. Neither will the rain, keeping highs close to 50 by the afternoon. Those showers will be here through Friday morning before departing east for the weekend. Temperatures look to be stuck in the 50’s again Friday before warming into the low 60’s Saturday and Sunday. We’re dry to start Monday, but another frontal system will bring back some rain chances and cooler weather. Highs will get knocked back into the low 50’s. We could pick up some frost sometime during the first half of next week.
