FULTON, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Fulton man was arrested on a Callaway County warrant for possession of child pornography after an investigation began in January.

The Boone County Sheriff's Office Cyber Crimes Task Force received a CyberTip report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) regarding a person in the Fulton area who had uploaded several child sexual abuse material files depicting prepubescent females, between 8 to 12 years old engaging in sex acts, to an online data storage service.

An investigator identified Kasey Watson as the account holder who was living at a residence in Fulton at the time of the possession.

In February 2021, a task force investigator talked with Watson while he was in custody at the Callaway County Jail on unrelated charges. Watson made statements that associated himself with the account in question and an arrest warrant was later issued.
