COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A woman faces several charges after allegedly trying to hit a person with her car in west Columbia.

Prosecutors charged Lacee Adams with first-degree assault, stealing, property damage and leaving the scene of an accident.

Adams is accused of trying to hit a man with her car after stealing belongings from his car Sunday morning in the Columbia Mall parking lot.

According to court documents, Adams also hit the victim's car and cut his rear drivers' side tire with a knife before driving away.

Adams told police she does not remember the incident.

Adams was not given bond by the court.
