Battle girls basketball coach resigns

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Battle girls basketball team is in need of a new head coach.

Michael Fernandez has resigned from his position, effective March 31. That's according to Battle athletic director Alex Huck.

The Lady Spartans went 10-13 this past season. They lost to Hickman in the final seconds in the district tournament.
