Tracking a quiet Wednesday before more rain returns tonight

drying out

WEDNESDAY: We’re taking a break from the active weather today, but we’ll still be contending with a bit of a breeze. Some gusts could reach 25 mph this morning, but will start to back off this afternoon. Temperatures will be stuck in the 50’s with clouds holding on for much of the day.

TONIGHT: Rain moves back in late tonight, after midnight, and will be with us as we wake up tomorrow. Lows fall into the low 40’s.

EXTENDED: That rain will stick around throughout our Thursday, with a few embedded rumbles here and there. Expecting the ingredients for anything strong to stay to our southeast, but we’ll be tracking a chance for some more organization near the I-44 corridor. Temperatures will be stuck in the 50’s again tomorrow with the clouds and rain. That clears up overnight by Friday morning, leaving us with a good dose of sunshine, chasing temperatures into the low 60’s. Another disturbance moves through Friday night, bringing back more showers, but isn’t expected to be long-lived. Those should clear up by Saturday, leaving a gorgeous start to the weekend. Temperatures will push into the upper 60’s Saturday before cooling down closer to 60 by Sunday. More rain looks to be looming to start next week.
