Mizzou softball player earns SEC Freshman of the Week
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Mizzou softball standout Jenna Laird is the SEC freshman of the week.
The New York native drove in eight runs and batted .636 in the Tigers four wins.
Laird has started all 23 games for the Tigers at shortstop. She helped propel MU to a 19-4 non-conference record.
Mizzou will begin SEC play this weekend on the road against Georgia. The Tigers and Bulldogs first game is Friday at 5 p.m.
